There is not a left or right for the Bauer Products Door Lock for Horse and Utility Trailers - Matte Black - Glass Filled Nylon # BA63FR or Die Cast Zinc # BA93FR.
These are meant as replacements so they would work so long as your cutout is the standard 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall; it also requires a 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick door, and since yours is 1-1/2" thick you're set there.

To determine the correct weight springs you will need a scale to determine how much weight is on the door when it lays out on the ground. You will place the scale on the ground in the center of the landing path of the door edge. This will tell you how much of the door weight is on the ground when fully open. To create barn doors out of your ramp door, you will need hinges and a latch. I suggest a latch/lock system like the Universal Cam-Door Lock for Enclosed Trailers - 1" Keeper, # 383200. Something like the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 can be used on doors with either left-hand or right-hand side hinges by turning the latch kit upside down.
